SEB is offering an innovative investment opportunity: investment in a fund and a term deposit with a higher interest rate

From 3 July to 30 September 2017, we are offering our clients an investment solution which includes investment in a fund and a term deposit with a higher interest rate. This innovative solution is offered only if it turns out to be suitable for the client during a consultation.

Ainar Leppänen, Head of Retail Banking and Technology at SEB: "Many clients want to invest their spare funds for a shorter or longer term. However, they often do not have the information necessary for making the right investment decisions. In such a case, we invite them for a consultation, whether at one of our branches or via video. At the meeting, the client and their private advisor will review the client’s current economic situation, set investment goals for the future, and determine the risk tolerance of the client. This new solution by SEB is an exciting opportunity for clients who are mostly saving at present but are considering investing, as well as for those who are already investing but who would also like to deposit their funds."

Clients can use this new investment solution if investment in one of the following funds turns out to be suitable and the client makes an investment in the amount set out in the personal recommendation.

• SEB Strategy Balanced;
• SEB Strategy Opportunity;
• SEB Strategy Growth;
• SEB High Yield Fund; või
• SEB Global Ch/R Fund.

The investment solution includes an investment in a suitable fund in the amount set out in the personal recommendation and a term deposit with a higher interest rate in the sum of the fund units acquired by following the recommendation. A term deposit can be concluded for a term of three months (90 days) with an interest rate of 3.5% on an annual basis.

When acquiring fund units and concluding a term deposit agreement, the usual terms and conditions of products apply. The terms and conditions are available on our website.

IMPORTANT

The interest rate for a term deposit has been given on an annual basis. For example, when depositing 1,000 euros for 3 months with an annual interest rate of 3.5%, you will earn 8.75 euros after 3 months (90 days).
