Youth LAB – paid internship program for students

How your day will look like?

60% of the time dedicated to practical experience

  • You will be working in various bank departments solving out actual tasks, which will help you develop professionally
  • You will be getting individual mentoring and continuous feedback on your performance
  • You will get an access to SEB employee trainings

20% + 20% of the time dedicated to the Youth LAB innovation programme

  • Every Tuesday, you will be spending your time at innovation workshops, brainstorming sessions and various networking activities led by the bank's innovations manager
  • As part of a team of five young people, you will be able to dive into the role of a start-up entrepreneur, through offering, prototyping and testing new ideas
  • You will be competing against other teams from Latvia, Lithuania and Estonia for the right to participate in the finals and compete for the "Best Team" title on the Baltic Demo Day
  • You will be getting inspiration at guest lectures and internal employee events

What is the recruitment process like?

  1. Applications for the Youth LAB are open until March 14.
  2. After receiving your internship application, we will send you the instructions for your next challenge – the video interview. This interview is a prerequisite for proceeding to the next stage.
  3. We will make a preliminary choice based on the internship application and the video interview.
  4. Successful candidates are invited to an introductory event at SEB, where you can meet the bank's management and have a better overview of the summer internship programme.
  5. After the event, we will make our final decision and enter into employment agreements with the chosen interns.

We will give you current feedback throughout the recruitment process.

  • Students from more than 18 different academic fields were part of Youth LAB
  • More than 30% of the interns were employed at SEB after their internship
