SEB Invested in Estonian Technology Company eAgronom
SEB has made its next investment through the Baltic Venture Debt program in eAgronom, an Estonian climate tech company focused on agriculture. The company offers farm management software and a Carbon Program across 14 countries in Europe and Africa.
eAgronom is a rapidly growing company that helps the agricultural sector increase productivity, improve soil health, and mitigate climate change by promoting sustainable practices and enhancing carbon sequestration in the soil.
“We were greatly impressed by eAgronom’s strong team, clear international growth strategy, and professional investor base. It is always a pleasure to work with dedicated and passionate entrepreneurs who are bold enough to enter new business fields. Expertise and a professional approach to fundraising have also been key success factors for eAgronom so far. We are proud to support eAgronom in its next phase of growth,” said SEB Management Board Member Ainar Leppänen.
“We are very pleased to join the family of companies in the SEB Baltic Venture Debt program. This funding will allow us to accelerate product development and expansion into new markets. We see SEB as a strong partner with whom we can grow our impact in global agriculture,” said eAgronom CEO Robin Saluoks.
The SEB Baltic Venture Debt program was launched in 2024 to support rapidly growing companies by offering flexible financing options without requiring equity dilution. The total volume of the program in the Baltics is €20 million, with funding per company potentially reaching up to €2 million.
