More SEB funds open to invest in the defence sector from June 2025
Since 2022, select SEB funds have been permitted to invest in the conventional defence industry following an update to SEB Asset Management’s sustainability policy. In 2025, we are broadening the range of funds eligible to invest in this sector.
Background
In 2022, SEB Asset Management updated its sustainability policy to allow selected equity and corporate bond funds the option to invest in the conventional defence industry*.
Additional funds with the option to invest in the defence sector from June 2025
The following SEB Active funds will have the option to invest in the defence sector:
- SEB Active 20 (F) — ISIN: SE0016075865
- SEB Active 30 (F) — ISIN: SE0016075949
- SEB Active 55 (F) — ISIN: SE0016076046
- SEB Active 80 (F) — ISIN: SE0016076111
*Please note that the funds do not have the option to invest in companies involved in the development of nuclear weapons programmes or the production of nuclear weapons, companies engaged in the manufacture, development or sale of prohibited or controversial weapons (such as cluster bombs, landmines, white phosphorus, and chemical or biological weapons), or companies deriving more than a limited portion of their revenue from the production or sale of civilian weapons.
