Making payments to China and in Chinese Yuan (CNY)

A Chinese Yuan (CNY) account can only be opened for legal entities at the branch.

Chinese banks require certain codes to be used to process payments. If the required codes are not used, the beneficiary's bank may refuse to accept the payment order or refuse to transfer money to the beneficiary's account and SEB Pank doesn’t take responsibility for that.

As of January 2022, the following codes are in use:

CCDNDR Charity Donation
CCTFDR Cross-border capital transfer
CGODDR Cross-border goods trade
COCADR Other current account transactions
CSTRDR Cross-border service trade

NB! There may be more required codes and they may change over time.
