Info related to e-Residency

An e-Resident card does not give a person Estonian residency, but the right to use digital services available in Estonia. Additionally, owning an e-Resident card is not a sufficient connection to Estonia.

Non-resident  clients of SEB can use their e-Resident cards in the internet bank for both private and business transactions, as well as digitally sign documents.

You can open a start-up account at any branch of SEB, by submitting the following documents:

  • A notarised foundation agreement (in case of several founders) or foundation resolution (in case of one founder).
  • A document proving the identity of the representative (passport or ID card).
