Advantages of an PZU* Kindlustus* insurance contract

  • Special terms are offered to SEB’s clients to enter into insurance contracts.
  • You can pay your annual property insurance premium with the leasing payment or as a separate payment as a lump sum or in up to four instalments.
  • You do not have to submit documents to prove you have entered into or extended an insurance contract, as PZU* Kindlustus will submit them to us on your behalf.
  • You will be contacted when the insurance contract expires so you can agree on the new insurance terms and conditions.

Requirements for insurance contracts of leased property

  • The insurer must be an insurance company accepted by SEB.
  • The property must be insured for an amount that is at least equal to market value during the entire leasing period.
  • The insurance contract must be entered into with the smallest excess permitted by the insurer.
  • AS SEB Pank must be noted as the beneficiary in the insurance contract.
  • The terms and conditions of the insurance contract must guarantee that indemnity is paid out in full in the event of theft of the property, fire or water damage, natural disaster, traffic accident and any other damages that may be caused by a loss event.
  • The insurance contract must be entered into for a period of one year.

If you enter into an insurance contract with another service provider, please send us copies of the new insurance policy and the payment order evidencing payment of the insurance premium five days before the expiry of the valid insurance policy. Company vehicle insurance

You can insure your company’s lorries, buses, trailers, motorcycles and ATVs with PZU*’s vehicle insurance*.

Vehicle insurance covers the damages caused by traffic accidents, natural disasters, fire (incl. damages caused by smoke, soot and fire extinguishing), explosions (incl. explosions of explosives), lightning strike or the loading and unloading of cargo.

Comprehensive company car insurance

Comprehensive insurance indemnifies for the damages caused to cars as a result of accidents. The policyholder has to pay the excess. Comprehensive insurance covers the damages caused by:

  • a traffic accident;
  • a natural disaster;
  • fire (incl. smoke, damage and fire extinguishing);
  • vandalism;
  • theft of property or a part thereof; or
  • insurance of leasing value.

Comprehensive insurance also covers the vehicle’s accessories. The market value of the accessories is the indemnity limit. Accessories are the entertainment, multimedia, navigation, communications and other electronic equipment; extra lights; elements that improve the appearance and aerodynamics of the vehicle, alloy wheels, extra bumpers, taxi equipment, etc., that are fixed to the vehicle. The indemnity limit for accessories installed after the first sale of the vehicle is €1,000.

The excess payable for repairs and replacement of the windscreen is 10% of the damages. Main excess is applied to glass damage caused to buses.

Recovery and transport – the cost of recovering the vehicle and transporting it to the repair workshop or storage site that is the nearest or specified by PZU* Kindlustus, which are necessary and justified due to an insured event, are indemnified to the extent of €1,500.

Mandatory motor third party liability insurance

Motor third party liability insurance indemnifies for the damages caused by the driver of the vehicle to third parties.

A regular motor third party liability insurance contract is entered into for an unspecified term. Motor third party liability insurance contracts for leased vehicles are entered into with a payment obligation or as Yes-contracts.

  • In the case of a contract with a payment obligation or Yes-contract, the insurance broker or the insurance company automatically sends a new policy either to your e-mail or postal address when the old one expires.
  • In the case of a contract without a payment obligation or No-contract, the insurance company or insurance broker does not send a new policy to you automatically and they only do it if you request one.

Insurance of building machinery helps to reduce the risks relating to equipment.

Building machinery insurance is meant for insurance of building, agricultural and other machinery that is self-propelled, stationary, towed, attached by hanging or hooking.

The insured item may not be older than 15 years (the current year being the 15th year) and it must be good technical order at the moment of insurance.

The following extra expenses are also insured under building machinery insurance:

  • the reasonable costs of preventing or reducing the damages caused by an insured event even if they did not yield the desired result;
  • the costs associated with doing overtime and working at night or on public holidays, express cargo (incl. air cargo);
  • the travel and accommodation costs of the manufacturing plant, importer or distributor that repairs the insured item;
  • the cost of rescuing the insured item (incl. the cost of cleaning the insured item);
  • the cost of towing the damaged item from the scene of the event, the necessary and justified costs of dismantling and assembly, and the cost of transporting to and from the repair workshop.

Additional costs in connection with eliminating the consequences of an insured event shall be indemnified within 10% of the insurable value of the object.

Excess is not applied to glass insurance if you take out building machinery insurance via SEB.

Property insurance can be used to insure the property belonging to companies. Business interruption insurance, electronic equipment insurance and liability insurance can be added to property insurance. Several buildings and several places of insurance (e.g. a chain of stores) can be insured with one contract.

Advantages of PZU* property insurance*

  • In addition to property insurance, you can take out business interruption insurance, electronic equipment insurance and liability insurance.
  • When buildings are insured, any external utility lines (e.g. gas, oil, heating, water supply, sewerage pipes and power cables up to the border of the registered immovable) fixed to the building, and any aerials, canopies, surveillance cameras, light fixtures, advertising signs and light boxes attached to the external walls of the building are deemed to be automatically insured without any extra insurance premium.
  • When property is insured with a list, any items acquired during the insurance period that are not included in the list are deemed to be automatically insured without any extra insurance premium. These items are insured to the extent of up to 10% of the sum insured of the items entered in the list or a maximum of €10,000.
