The bank interface is an electronic information and payment system that enables you to communicate with the bank in an automated and operative way.

  • The bank interface allows you to integrate the company’s accounting system with the bank service. Thanks to the bank interface you can make payments and monitor the incoming and outgoing transactions on your bank account directly in your accounting program.
  • Since you receive information about the receipt in real time, you can provide a service to the remitter immediately after making the payment.
  • With the bank interface service, you can make a large number of payments without having to export them from one program to another.
  • Upon request, you can use the e-seal of an institution for automatic batch-signing of payment orders.

A monthly maintenance fee and contract fee apply to the bank interface service, which you will find from the electronic products and services price list. The price list applies to the transactions done via the bank interface.

The bank interface is good to use if the processing of information on the crediting and debiting of the company’s accounts have to be done quickly in the company’s information system. By using the bank interface, you will get the information on crediting and debiting of the accounts in real time and the payments made by clients are immediately shown in your accounting software.

The bank interface enables the company also to make everyday payments and forward e-invoices in a convenient manner. When using the bank interface, the payment orders do not have to be imported from one program to another, but instead, these are forwarded immediately to the bank.

The bank interface enables to:

  • receive notifications from the bank about account transactions;
  • forward payment orders to the bank;
  • receive notification from the bank about the status of a payment order;
  • forward to the bank e-invoices and receive from the bank data about the ordered e-invoices;
  • receive account statements (for previous day).

Using the bank interface service requires software development by your company. Software development is especially important, since when making payments the digital signature certificates on personal ID cards or the e-seal issued by SK ID Solutions AS need to be used.

Implementing the bank interface service

  • To obtain the information about the development that is necessary for the service to function, examine the documentation of the sample application and the installation instructions of bank interface (under Instructions).
  • To conclude the contract or in case of questions, contact us at .
  • After signing the contract, we shall forward you the machine certificate which is necessary for using the service together with the security features and give you a possibility to try out the service in our test environment. The bank interface sample application source code is of assistance in the development works. If the desired result is reached, we shall open the service to your company in SEB’s live system.
  • For digital confirmation of payment orders by your company, order the e-seal for institutions from SK ID Solutions AS.
  • We will provide you with a sample application of bank interface to exchange messages, which can be used in an unchanged form for the service or taken as an example when creating your own application.
  • You can use the message queue in the bank’s information system 24h a day. If you are connected to the message queue, the message will be received directly in your company’s information system. If you are logged out at the time the message is compiled, we will collect your company’s messages in the message queue and forward them to you once you have signed in again.
