SEB mobile app’s new feature allows tracking investment performance

SEB Pank has introduced a new feature in its mobile app – from now on, app users with a securities account maintained by the bank will be able to track their investment performance directly on their smartphone in a user-friendly and simple way.

‘Despite the fact that we have recently been mainly focused on improving payment features, investments are our next biggest priority. For now, we are offering just an investment tracking solution, which will, of course, be developed in the future, with the next step being transactions and everyday management possibilities,’ explains SEB Estonia management board member Ainar Leppänen.

In the mobile app’s new tab ‘Investing’, clients will see information about their securities accounts as well as investment performance, will be able to rename their existing securities accounts, choose to view the securities accounts in their original currency, or convert them into euros. All the client’s Investment accounts are displayed in the ‘Investment’ tab of the app and will no longer appear in its main window.

In the SEB mobile app, clients can get brief overview of their account balance as well as make and ask for payments. In addition, it is possible to order or block a bank card and check the statuses of loans, leasing, and savings payments. The mobile app allows to make fast transfers to another bank on the basis of the recipient’s the mobile phone number, make mobile payments with Android phones and use the Digital Coin Jar for savings.

The SEB mobile app is currently used by 170 000 clients of the bank.
