Allan Parik to start as Chairman of the Management Board of SEB Pank on 1 August

Starting on 1 August, Allan Parik, who is the current Head of SEB Baltic Corporate Banking, will become Chairman of the Management Board of AS SEB Pank. Riho Unt, who has been managing SEB Pank for five years, will assume the current role held by Allan Parik, that is, Head of SEB Baltic Corporate Banking.

“Having worked for 20 years at SEB Baltic Corporate Banking, with the three last spent at the international level, I am happy to be returning to head the Estonian organisation. On the Estonian banking market and in the economy as a whole, we are witnessing an era of changes, and I see my goal as keeping our clients satisfied, our employees motivated and our bank profitable in these complex times,” Allan Parik, the next Chairman of the Management Board at SEB Pank, said.

“I wish to thank the employees and clients for their cooperation. The past five years have been successful for the bank, and SEB has come out strong from the economic crisis. I am pleased to hand over management of the bank to former member of the management board Allan Parik and move on to the SEB headquarters to manage Baltic corporate banking,” said Riho Unt, Chairman of the Management Board at SEB.

Allan is a very capable manager with long-term experience in banking, so the clients of SEB Pank will be in good hands and Riho can accept new challenges in managing international banking,” David Teare, Head of SEB Baltic Division, noted.

Allan Parik has been working at the bank since 1995. In 1997, he became Head of the Large Corporates Department. He served as Head of the Corporate Banking Division from 2000, as Deputy Head of Corporate Banking from 2007, and as Member of the Management Board and Head of Corporate Banking at SEB from 2009. As of 2012, Allan Parik has been a Member of the Management Board of the SEB Baltic Division.

Riho Unt has been working at SEB for almost fifteen years, starting in 2001 in the bank’s e-Technology and Operations Division. In 2004, he became Deputy Head of the Tallinn branch of the bank and in 2006, Head of the Retail Banking Division. Since the end of 2007, Riho Unt has been a Member of the Management Board at SEB, and for the past five years, Chairman of the Management Board.
