Using a Mobile-ID in Internet Bank

With a Mobile-ID, you can log onto the Internet Bank and affix a digital signature. Mobile-ID operates everywhere (also in abroad), where mobile network connection is available. A separate card reader is not required.

Likewise an ID-card, also the Mobile-ID gives access to a number of electronic services offered in Estonia.

Using a Mobile-ID is

  • convenient, since the ID-card is always available in your mobile phone and you can make payments, exceeding the limit of a code card
  • simple, since you only need a computer with Internet connection and mobile network connection you can use the Mobile-ID also in abroad
  • safe

Logging into Internet Bank

  1. Enter your Internet Bank username and press button “Mobile-ID”.
  2. A message will be sent to your mobile phone, requesting your Mobile-ID PIN1-code.
  3. Enter the Mobile-ID PIN1-code in your mobile phone.

Confirming a transaction in Internet Bank

When making a transfer, signing a contract and submitting an application, these must be confirmed with digital signature.

  1. Press button “Digital signature”.
  2. A message will be sent to your mobile phone, requesting you Mobile-ID PIN2-code.
  3. Enter the Mobile-ID PIN2-code in your mobile phone.
