SEB Summer University

The SEB Summer University is a traineeship programme, designed for students of universities, which is conducted at SEB Pank and its Estonian subsidiaries and associated companies.

Within the scope of Summer University, the students will get professional experience and a possibility to listen to the lectures given by top specialists from the entire SEB Group, working in Estonia.

Accordingly, the programme is based on two pillars

  • Individual part i.e. a summer traineeship supervised by a coach. This is the part where a student is given an opportunity to participate in the work life of SEB: by contributing into the achievement of the goals of SEB, getting an overview of how people work in an international organisation and learning from the best specialists of their field. The site of traineeship will be a specific unit of SEB.
  • Common part i.e. a series of lectures. During the period of traineeship, the SEB head office will host lectures on topics, which help the students get a better idea of the everyday life of a financial company. In course of lectures, the students will learn about the specific nature and work processes of different areas and the skills, which are necessary for working in one or the other. Lecturers are the managers and top specialists of SEB.
