Using an ID-card in Internet Bank

Using an ID-card in Internet Bank
With an ID-card, you can log onto the Internet Bank and affix a digital signature.

• ID-card is safe.
• With an ID-card, you can make payments within the entire limit, which you have agreed with the bank. With a code card, you can make payments only for EEK 3000 in a day.
• When using an ID-card, your Internet Bank session does not expire and there is no obligation to replace the password.
• An ID-card gives you access to a large number of electronic services offered in Estonia.

Logging into Internet Bank

1. Enter the ID-card into the card reader.
2. Enter your Internet Bank username and press button “ID-card”.
   
3. Select the certificate with your name and personal ID code.
   
4. Enter PIN1-code of your ID-card.
   

Confirming a transaction in Internet Bank
When making a transfer, signing a contract and submitting an application, these must be confirmed with digital signature.

1. Press button “Digital signature”.
   
2. Enter PIN2-code of your ID-card.
